Market Research
Having up-to-date information throughout the development of any new home community
is critical to success. Research about the buying public is conducted at all points
during the life of a new home site that is marketed by Rose & Womble Realty.
Rose
& Womble's New Homes Division collects and synthesizes data from all the new home
sites it represents. Information regarding traffi c, inventory, sales and cancellations,
buyer profi les, prospect profi les, response to advertising, and much more is prepared
into reports which are shared with clients. Data is compiled weekly and presented
as weekly, year-to-date and annual totals in table and graph formats.
Rose & Womble’s
subsidiary Residential Data Bank gathers monthly data on permits and closings in
all Hampton Roads cities and tracks those statistics by builder, subdivision, percentage
of total market, and a host of other detailed variables. This specifi c initial
information can help establish supply and demand aspects of the feasibility of a
project, target buyers, product requirements, merchandising recommendations, and
expected absorbtion rates.
