My real estate career was set in motion at the age of 18 in the state of
Minnesota. I started in the title & settlement sector and soon advanced into the finance/mortgage side of the business. But then I found my love of selling real estate! I truly enjoy working directly with people and assisting with their most important investment, and sales gave me that opportunity.
My many years of expertise commenced while assisting a Top Producing agent in 1995. Within our 1st year together we quickly became the #1 selling team in all of
Central Minnesota in both resale and new construction sales. By 1998, in addition to real estate sales, we opened our own construction firm and once again, we became the top homebuilder in the area within our first year. I was the top sales person in our firm every year after with over $10 million in sales every year. In addition to selling, I was also heavily involved in land acquisition and development for the firm. Needless to say I wore many hats—from the blueprint of the home to its ultimate purchase agreement.
Since meeting my husband in 2001 (a Navy Pilot), our careers have taken us to many places. Virginia Beach, where I also dabbled in Commercial real estate; California, where I sold resale homes; Washington, DC, where I worked in land acquisition & development; and now back to Virginia Beach returning to real estate sales which is where my heart has always been.
With over 15 years in the real estate industry, I have experienced the variety of markets and the ever-changing paperwork—and have loved every minute of it! I have been so very fortunate to learn the business from every angle and am grateful for the opportunity to keep doing what I love.
