Education is an important part of my life. I have a B.S. in Business from Old Dominion University and graduated with a double major in Management and Marketing. Sales and Negotiation skills are paramount when conducting a real estate transaction. I have over 10 years experience in Sales and served as Training and Area Manager for over 5 years. I love the fast pace of sales, but wanted to get to know the customer/client better. Real Estate allows me to do both. Building long lasting relationships with people is something I truly value. Not only do I have great support from my fellow team members but also at home in my best friend and husband of almost 15 years, Martin, as well as in my little assistants Jordan and Michael. Our kids are agreeably the best thing that has happened in both of our lives. God has truly blessed us! Jordan is 4 years old and has been teaching my husband and I all about life since she was born. Jordan was excited to welcome her baby brother Michael a little over a year ago. The value of education is also seen in Martin who has a Masters in Applied Math from Old Dominion University as well as a second Masters in Engineering also from ODU and is beginning work on his Phd in Computer Science at William and Mary this fall. He is currently working for Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant.
My free time is most enjoyably spent with my family. My kids are my life! Real Estate has afforded me the opportunity to spend most of my time with my kids while helping to provide for my family. I love animals; my parents have four Great Danes which they rescued as a part of the group they are a part of - Great Dane Rescue of the Commonwealth! I also love taking pictures and putting together scrap books of all of my memories. I am an organizational guru. Much of my free time is spent finding better ways to make things more functional and organized!
